Caught in the web of accepted unease
Spirit regarded as contagious disease
By a fear of death
Taboo to redress
‘Invincible tis I, I own the right to be’.
The rupture unbound by compressed emotion
While true notion of self is found in devotion
To truth, to breathing, to the bleeding
Leant yet unseen, through the unread mirror
Of projected screams.
Let the layers flake,
Confront our mistakes
Our worries, our woes.
The breadth of noise will tremor
Under the capacity for silence
For all that is and ever will be
